Cheng and Meng (IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security 2024) introduced server-aided public key authenticated encryption with keyword search (SA-PAEKS). In this short note, without a public-key infrastructure, we show that a cloud server (tester) can obtain keyword information from both a ciphertext and a trapdoor.
